Show Notes: (26)

Only One Worldview

  • we are more in need of worldview thinking than ever
  • a lot of people latched on to the worldview term who didn’t fully understand it
  • there is only one worldview for both pagans and believers
  • worldview is that which everyone knows to be true
  • if there were more than one worldview the last judgment would be impossible
  • pagans are living in darkness because they don’t want to be in the light

C.S. Lewis: Anti-Darwinist

  • written by Jerry Bergman
  • one of the things many people trip over is Lewis’ apparent acceptance of theistic evolution
  • Bergman gathers together a lot of quotes and shows that it is not as simple as saying that Lewis is just a theistic evolutionist
  • Lewis was a Darwinian heretic from the beginning

Aition

  • refers to the charges that had been made against Jesus, which were charges of sedition and blasphemy
  • used in Luke 23:4,14
  • it is used in contexts that mean that there was no fault that was actionable
  • but of course, for slanderers, anything is actionable at any time
