Revolution and Modernity

Ninth Annual Credenda/Agenda History Conference (2004)

Having grown up in the "age of Revolution" we have all been influenced by Revolutionary thinking. It is vital that we recognize the symptoms and conform our minds to the mind of Christ. This Anti-Revolutionary mind has always maintained a bulwark of defense against the madness of modernity and has in the process produced some of the most remarkable art, music, literature and ideas of the last two centuries.Though perhaps the best History conference to date, we had a recording mishap. Please forgive the less than crisp recordings. As a result, we've discounted this item. The following lectures are included in this set:

1. Karl Marx (1818-1883) - George Grant

2. Maximilien Robespierre (1729-1794) - Steve Wilkins

3. Groen Van Prinsterer (1808-1876) - Douglas Wilson

4. Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) - George Grant

5. Edmund Burke (1729-1797) - Steve Wilkins
