The Second Book in the Family Series

Where would the Church be today if the men in it were respected as they ought to be by their wives? Nancy Wilson exhorts wives to stop focusing on their husbands' problems and shortcomings and to look at their own responsibilities and learn the contentment which the Bible continually exhorts us to.

This book is part of the Canon Press series of books on the family, which has helped many people trying to deal with the everyday messes that come with sinners living under the same roof. This book on marriage for women reminds us to keep our eyes fixed on what the Bible defines as our duties and not on the modern lies which flatter us. "Give her the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates" (Prov. 31:31).

A Loving Kick in the Pants!

This is exactly what I needed! It felt like sitting down with a Godly, older woman for coffee. A great balance of truth and love-kind, but not afraid to point out your sin!

My wife requested a copy for Christmas. Great resource and she has been sharing quotes with other women. Book came in excellent condition. Tried to buy a copy from Amazon but it was damaged. Won't make that mistake again. Buying directly from Canon from now.

Need more older women teaching younger women this

What a good read, read it before handing to my wife to read.

We’ve discussed homemaking for years prior to reading this and how applicable of a read to follow up those conversations

I love this book! Nancy puts biblical wisdom in a way that easy to understand and apply to everyday life.
