Responsibilities
- Be able to develop and implement a corporate social media strategy
- Manage content creation, social copy, and publishing.
- Have an eye on and develop the strategy for expanding onto newer social platforms - increasing reach and fan interaction with the brand.
- Develop strategies to drive engagement and build community, engaging and interacting with followers.
- Understand how to create and produce the same piece of content for each varying social platform.
- Track content performance, discovering, and implementing actionable insights to improve business outcomes.

Senior Accountant
Canon Press is looking for a full-time, career-oriented senior accountant.
This is a salaried position in Moscow, ID, not a remote position.
It requires strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition to having attention to detail, the ideal candidate must be willing to assist with a number of accounting-related responsibilities while maintaining strict confidentiality. Opportunities to grow will follow as the company’s financial and analytical needs are projected to increase.
Responsibilities
- Financial Statements – preparing Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows
- Monthly financial narratives – including the documentation of actual to budget variances
- Assisting with annual budget – including sales and cash flow forecasts
- Monthly Reconciliations – banking, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
- Accounts Receivable - monitoring and following up on collections
- Accounts Payable – coding invoices, credit card transactions and preparing weekly check runs
- Posting payments from customers and partners
- Bank deposits (in-person and remote)
- Payroll Processing – onboarding new employees, reviewing employee timesheets and processing payroll
- Preparing 1099s and reviewing W2 tax documents for distribution
- Responding to and completing vendor credit applications
- Posting and reviewing journal entries to ensure the matching of revenue, costs, and expenses
- Assisting with periodic inventory counts of onsite warehouse
- Helping to ensure compliance with government agencies
- Contributing to the creation and implementation of company policies
- Ongoing direct communication with operation and marketing teams
- Additional duties as assigned given the varied needs of a small business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to follow directions while working independently
- Attention to detail while meeting company deadlines
- A positive attitude and ability to work with others professionally
- A competent understanding of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- One year experience with Sage Intacct (preferred)
- Prior experience with SurePayroll or other payroll online solutions (preferred)
