Logos Cursive

Developed over 20 years in the classroom, B.J. Loyd has created a unique program for teaching cursive handwriting to children.

This package includes:

• Logos Cursive Book One: students copy the letters of the alphabet. The book ends with a series of Bible verses which the students copy out by hand. Look inside Cursive One.
• Logos Cursive Book Two: students copy proverbs and other wise "assembly sayings" from long-time Logos School principal Matt Whitling. Look inside Cursive Two.
• Logos Cursive Book Three: students copy the Apostles' Creed and Bible verses from which the Creed is taken. Look inside Cursive Three.

This workbook teachers students the Modern Cursive style of handwriting. This program has students imitate excellent handwriting while copying selections of worthwhile content and was developed in the 2nd grade classroom at Logos School by veteran teacher B.J. Jordan. 

Students trace over dotted letters and learn each stroke in the letter one at a time with plenty of practice. Then students practice joining the letters together, and gradually they practice connecting different letters with different words.  Building on the previous books, students now get plenty of practice completing sentences and joining letters together. Students trace over longer and longer words and sentences throughout the year, while learning the words of the wise and the fundamentals of the Christian faith!
