What People Are Saying:

"'Ashtown Burials,' with its unique patchwork of history and mythology, effortlessly holds its own among works by such modern fantasy greats as Rick Riordan and J.K. Rowling. Character building is exceptional, and the fast-paced plot will keep readers glued to the pages. A must-have." -School Library Journal

Our son has devoured this (and the rest of
N. D. Wilson’s books). We listen to SASF during weekly car rides from the White Mountains of NH to coastal ME visiting grandparents. This is how he learned about Silent Bells: Ashtown Burials #4.

Can’t wait for the next book

My son and I started reading this series a few years ago, and when we were left with a cliffhanger at the end of “Empire of Bone” we were anxious to get the next book. We waited, and lo and behold there was no book but instead this format. It was a great read, but if I’m being honest I would prefer a digital copy if a printed book was out of the question. For the price I paid, I’m terrified the pages will be ripped or lost, something I worry less about with books, and not at all with digital books. That being said I love the story, the characters, and the juicy mythology and history. Keep them coming!

Desperately want to read the last book!

I just found this series (as an adult & homeschool mom of 4) and loved it! But I am so incredibly bummed that it's $84 to get the last book. There's no way that is in our budget. Incredibly disappointing.

Pls make full book version!

$84 is too much for 15 chapters. Love the Ashtown Burials series, but I don't understand why they can't at least self-publish the 4th book for an affordable price.

Lame.

Read the first three when they came out. Waited for years for the final installment -- and now that it is out they want $84 for it. Feels like a bit of bait-and-switch. Not aware of any other publishing stunt like this.

Is it worth the money?

These books are give you an experience (rather than describing) like no other. I just loved the books! Me and my family wanted to see this story come to life. So my dad purchased what has been made thus far. This first draft will have all your children waiting with eagerness for you to read the chapter. Is it worth the money? Yes, it has been wort every penny.

We were introduced to these well after 2020 so we missed the subscription. I could not then anyway, and still can’t, pay $85 for one book. Loved the series so far. Pretty disappointing way to end things.

Son loves it!

It has been fun seeing my son’s face light up when he gets his “newspaper” when it’s a special day or holiday! Although he can’t wait for it to be an actual book, it has given him something to look forward to that is just for him! We love this series! He has told me that one day, he looks forward to giving a chapter monthly to his kids and grandkids (he is only 13!)

Great series

I love the first 3 and very few months check to see if there is finally a whole 4th book. Can cannon press not publish this as one book? Or offer it at a reasonable price? The people are clamoring for it man!
