Enjoyable and doable!

We have really enjoyed NOEO Biology 1 so far. The reading selections are easy to do, and we have all learned a lot. Having the activities all prepped means we are actually doing them.

We aren't using the worksheets because my son isn't a strong writer yet, but I think it's nice that they are available.

LOVE THIS CURRICULUM

As a busy mom of 7, I love this curriculum. The books included are great and not overkill. I wouldn’t consider myself someone who enjoys science, but this kit really makes it fun. The experiments are fun and easy to do and my second and third grader have liked them all so far.

Best way to learn

We love how he learns so much without it seeming like he’s learning. It’s much more fun to read through a series of purposeful books then a daunting big text book and so many skills are incorporated like writing and study skills etc.

Good curriculum

It's a good curriculum. My son, 7 yo, didn't take to it however. He loves reading all the books but dreads the writing. So we do the suggested readings and have discussions about the topics. And I'll have him write here and there, but I find he retains the knowledge and enjoys it much more when we discuss what he's read, versus making him write it out. Maybe for older students they wouldn't mind the writing. I understand they're trying to teach how proper lab reports are written but for my 7 year old, it's not necessary. He'll learn eventually. Science is about exploring and asking questions about God's creation. And the books are a great selection for that.

Great package

This pack has great experiments for my first grader. She is not fond of the writing but we make it through. Was missing a book needed for one whole week of lessons. I emailed and it took a while to get a answer. They were willing to ship book out. I had to purchase it elsewhere and noeo refunded me for the book.

Wonderful Science Curriculum

This curriculum is very easy to use! We enjoy the books that are included. Since starting this curriculum (for the first time this year), my oldest kiddo has decided that science is now his favorite subject!

Finally a science curriculum I'm actually using!

I've gone through many different curriculum only to have to stop and wait to find this or that and mostly skipping a bunch. Curriculum that my kids are begging to be over. But this has been such a huge relief. First of all my second grader can read all of it to me! And the experiments have been easy, fun and memorable. And we are staying on task because my child begs for it! I was hesitant to purchase it for such a large amount but I will definitely be doing that again next year!

Out of all the different curriculums we bought this year this was my kids and mine absolute favorite! They get so excited for science! The books are amazing and they get so excited for the experiment kits!
