This book has helped me greatly as I have faced various temptations to complain and be discontent. If you struggle with contentment, I can not recommend The Rare Jewel enough!

I hadn't realized what a treasure contentment is before beginning to read this book, and I had no idea how terribly I needed it. I thought I was a fairly content person, albeit struggling with "a tiny bit" of complaining and anxiety (turns out, a little of that goes a long way). This book has taught me that a lot of my so-called contentment was superficial. That's great, because the real contentment I'm learning now is not just sweeter itself, it sweetens everything else!

Also, this is definitely a good quality paperback. The writing style is detailed but not dense.
