John Milton Gregory was an American educator and proponent of classical liberal arts education who lived from 1822-1898. He was the influential first president of the University of Illinois. The Seven Laws of Teaching is his most well-known work.

Douglas Wilson is a pastor in Moscow, Idaho, a father of three, and grandfather of seventeen. He is the author of numerous books, including Decluttering Your Marriage, Future Men, and How to Exasperate Your Wife.

Dr. Larry Stephenson has spent over twenty-five years in educational administration and is currently the head of Logos Press Online School and several ACCS schools. He is the author of The Administrator's Handbook and The College Advising Handbook.

If I had read this book while actually studying to be a teacher, I wouldn't have wasted so much energy in unneeded areas. This book is a blessing to everyone who reads it. When/If I start a school for the Lord, I will be content to hire teachers who have read this book and are willing to be taught, no other qualifications necessary.
