Grab some knee pads and a helmet, kids!

You'll need them to survive Douglas Wilson's Dangerous Alphabet.

Highly entertaining alphabet book that captivates children, especially boys. Customers said it's "dangerously funny" with original humor that appeals to kids and adults alike. Children repeatedly request it. One shopper noted "my boys ask for it over and over again!" Parents appreciate the creative approach to learning ABCs, though content may be too stimulating for bedtime.

Fun for a 70 yr old grandfather. Looking forward to reading with my youngest.

I think my grandson will enjoy this and improve his reading skills.

A little disturbing for young readers

Feeling a little bamboozled by this book. It was offered as an add-on after I purchased the Chickadee Readers. Definitely not an age appropriate add-on for a 3 and 6 year old. Will try again at age 8, maybe.

Dangerously Funny

We watched the short on our Canon+ app, and the kids are always asking to watch it again. Obviously it was time to add the book to our library! The top favorites are letters A and X.

Four-year-olds loved it!

This is absolutely a boy book! I bought it for my little cousin and he loved it—his twin sister was mesmerized too. A hilarious book—to quote my husband “this is a book for boys and their fathers, not girls and their mothers.”😂

Dangerous indeed!

Will give my 7 yr old grandson a real kick. Lots of fun. Great idea!

Everyone gets this book for Christmas!

I loved it so much that I bought six of them!

Boisterous

I love the levity around danger. Helps my boys be brave and silly in a way that speaks to them. Very original. I look forward to reading this not just to my sons, but to my grandsons someday.

Great new take on learning ABCs

My four year boy loves it but takes issue with letter J. He believes he CAN run faster than a jaguar and needs to demonstrate every time we read it. Thanks for another great book!

So fun!

I loved the humor, and I can’t wait to share it with my grandchildren. My husband is a retired military helicopter pilot, and he is known in our family for safety briefings, so I am giving the book to him. Even he hasn’t warned the children of some of the dangers in this book, so it should be fun!

Do much fun

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old ball of energy boy. I handed it to my husband before I hid it away and he was chuckling out loud. Very rare in a picture book!

Intriguing style

There are all kinds of hidden messages that can be read into each page of twists and turns of the old alphabet books versus the Bible, versus Doug Wilson's penetrating irony.

My kids, love it.

Boys love it

My boys are slow at enjoying school but this one they ask for over and over again!

Maybe Not a Bedtime Story.

I honestly cringe thinking about papercuts. I'm struggling to get through. Must overcome.

I purchased this for my son’s upcoming birthday. It came well packaged and carefully wrapped in paper. The book itself is funny and charming, I know he will love it, and I will thoroughly enjoy reading it to him.
