Christ conquered the West the first time. And this is how He’ll do it again.

Look Inside the Book

And when He does it again, Christians must be ready to take the lead.

Jesus really is the answer to Taxes, Civil Resistance, and speech laws. However, Christians do not need another political platform. They need a plan. This book is that plan.

"If we succeed, this will not be Christian America. If we succeed, this will be the Christian America as the prodigal son, tired of the pig food, coming home to his father."

You may not live in Christendom now, but your great-grandkids could.

We want to establish beachheads all around the United States. So we are debuting the Christ Is Lord box.

Here's what's in the box.

From the Book:

"Why are we so afraid of theocracy? What might happen? Might we go on a rampage and kill 60 million babies? Yeah, that would be bad. Better not risk it.
Might we set up a surveillance state, with camera clusters pointed in every direction at all the intersections? Right—theocracies are terrible like that. The real reason why our current rulers want us to react violently whenever we hear the word theocracy is that petty gods are always jealous of their position, and dread any talk of a Lord who rose from the dead."

Customers praised this theological book as "very clear, helpful, and visionary" with "thought provoking" content that offers a biblical perspective on Christian nationalism and cultural engagement. Reviewers appreciated the humor, practical applications, and hopeful postmillennial vision. Some noted it reads like "a collection of blog posts" with occasional disjointed transitions.

A Mere Review

For over half a century I have learned a great deal by taking up the position of: dumbest guy in the room. However, MERE CHRISTENDOM is forcing me to give up stupidity as a cunning strategy. I was already aware of this need but Wilson made me own it. The trouble with being the dumbest guy in the room is that you wind up learning way too much to retain the title and that’s where the trouble begins.

We live in a Blue, Blue City in a Blue, Blue State where effeminate pastors rule and many Elders spend time either bullying outspoken members of the congregation or attempting to get in touch with their inner lesbians; unless of course, they’re already lesbians.

MERE CHRISTENDOM is "The Art of War" for The Saints of Jesus; don’t pass it by. A beautiful CHRIST IS LORD billboard for our community was, I thought, a pipe dream but I was shocked to see we’re on the list; incredible. Apparently there are some yet who have not bowed the knee to Baal. I thought I had caught a glimpse of their campfires at night but now I’m certain of it.

A glorious work of political theology

Fifteen years or so ago, I kept hearing about this odd fellow from Moscow Idaho. The angry rants against federal vision were rampant at the time and this man was seemingly caught up in the kerfuffle. Ten years ago, I was acquainted enough with his work to say “I don’t endorse everything he says, but on THIS issue he’s got a point.” Five years ago, I finally admitted that the boogeyman caricature of him that I had been sold was nowhere near the reality of the man.
Today, I stand convinced that Doug Wilson is a treasure to the church and this book is a master class in how the church ought to practically apply theological in the political realm. Plus, Wilson is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers to read for his wit and ability to turn a phrase. I loved every word of this book.

Excellent

I have been a fan of blog and mablog from the beginning. It was great to see all of it strung together in a way that made so much sense concerning the vision of life we should have as Christians. I think Doug’s vision is based in truth and is compelling. I hope this book impacts people for years to come.

An eye opening book

I thoroughly enjoyed Doug's book. It made me think through topics that I did not pay attention to in the past. It made me aware of connections between biblical concepts that were not clear to me. I am not sure if it is true for others or not, but the whole time, I was reading it with Doug's voice in my head! Peace be with you.

Reality explained

I'm a fairly newcomer to Douglas Wilson (about 3 years). His insights, knowledge and humor are infectious. Mere Christendom is a great primer not only to Christian Nationalism, but to the Great Commission. Highly recommended

Christ is Lord Sticker Pack
A surprisingly biblical vision for the future of Christs Kingdom

After reading this book and coming back to some of its chapters over the last few months, it has shown itself not only to be very relevant for our times, but also casts a bright vision for the future of what Chris is going to accomplish in the world. I personally am exhausted with the Christianity being promoted today that teaches us to sit down and be silent to essentially expect the great commission to fail. Reading this book was very life-giving and for the first time in my Christian life, I feel like there is a point in pursuing gospel expansion. For me personally, a “we lose” down here mentality has been very debilitating. Even though I may not see Christianity win again in my lifetime, I look forward to planting the seeds for the day when Christendom will take the world by storm again. Christ is King!

A great read

A solid, holistic view of our life and responsibilities as Christians that live in a geological context in the world that God made.

I’m glad for the very bad review of this book in the OPC denominational periodical, New Horizons by a professor at Dryer Theological Seminary named Strange. The reviewer was so negative, I was moved to read the book myself. I was pleased with views expressed therein.

Awesome- need new highlighter though!

I’m not quite done with it, but my highlighter definitely is a lot more used up than it was before I got the book (because I highlight everything that I want to remember). It definitely has given me better perspective on how to articulate and know what I believe! Love it!

We are so back

Mere Christendom is more compendium of Doug’s thoughts on Christian Nationalism than well-outlined argument (but we have Stephen Wolfe for the latter). It is still coherent and, most importantly, rooted in the Word. Recommended first book on the topic of CN.

Good, reads like a collection of blog posts

It's a good work and an important contribution to this discussion, but it feels a bit disjointed like it was a collection of blog posts put together

Just started reading

Thought provoking. I have to sometimes reread a line to flesh out the sarcasm. Not a book for sissys. Or, actually a must read for us sissys.
