I first listened to this book on canon plus but enjoyed it so much that I purchased it. I have recommended it to multiple people and have even done a book report on it. Christine has created a book that is enjoyable by all ages that it is intended for and above. I hope to one day be an author and would be unbelievably happy if I would write something half this good! I also would highly recommend Christine's other book "The Sinking City"

I enjoy reading Christine Cohen’s books. Before this one I had read, The Sinking City. When I heard of this book I was excited to read it. It has a very good outcome and many plot twists. Overall I enjoyed reading this book and definitely recommend it.

The Winter King

I listened to the audio version on the Canon app and enjoyed it a lot. It was refreshing to have a female character who acts with courage in the way a real woman would rather than like Hollywood's MMA skin headed she- hulks. You could be very sympathetic to her and I enjoyed all the characters. I sent a copy to my fifteen year old cousin and she read it within a week. She told me she had been wanting it for awhile and greatly enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this story, particularly getting to know the characters that Christine created. They were real and convincing, and at times unexpected - different from me. As I walked with them in a world both familiar and foreign, chilling at times but also beautiful, I felt like I experienced a little more of the wonder and beauty that brims over from our own world. Definitely looking forward to rereading this story!

I love this book! I am reading this to my family and we are about half way through. We love the characters and we all have guesses about the way it will end. If Christine Cohen has more books or if she is thinking about writing a sequel to this book, we are all in. Thank you for publishing high quality books like this. With Love, The York Family :)

I am enjoying the talent of Christine Cohen, both in the writing as well as her giving voice to her creation. This truly is soul food.
I am torn between getting to work and just listening to the story unfold. It's a real "page turner".

I really, really enjoyed this book. It started off shaky for me, and there were one or two things I might have changed if I was the one writing the book, but it was a wonderful young adult fantasy novel with great characters, intense drama, and a wonderful use of worldbuilding to provide great foreshadowing and dramatic reveals. Highly recommended.

The Winter King kept me hooked until the end! A great story!

This was a fantastic read aloud for my kids ages 8-13. It was one we didn't want to put down and would often return to it later in the day, especially towards the end. I am looking forward to more from this author!

I loved this book. I listened to the first two chapters for free on a podcast and was hooked. Great book to have on your shelf!

My 12 year old daughter has greatly enjoyed it, and keeps re-reading it.

There appears to be a handwritten signature and note in it. Is that actually signed by the author?

I would love to see another adventure with these characters. They are so well written. I cherished listening to this book because it brought hope that God's word prevails even in the darkest hour.

I hope Christine Cohen keeps writing because I think she can be another Lewis or Tolkein.
