Good/Rare Message

Amazing message for my boys to hear. Most books today are focused on girls, while Blah Blah let's boys be boys and doesn't encourage them to chop their genitals off. Really good artwork too.

Great for a trouble maker

Love this one, this reminds me a lot of my son and inspires others to be fun and authentic too.

Meh?

The advertising for this book played it up as if it was encouraging rough and tumble boys to be leaders and protect those around them. In reality it was a very thin version that concept set to the tune of bah bah black sheep lacking substance and direction.

My Son loves this book, and now looks forward to reading every night

Heartwarming & profound

I love the simplicity of this book; it’s quick, simple enough that my toddlers understand it, and yet it’s rich with wisdom! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a children’s book that teaches this nuanced but important lesson. It’s a great reminder for me, too — next time I’m frustrated when the Blah Blah of our family won’t “be a PROPER SHEEP,” I need to remember to thank God for the courage he’s given her. Thank you for this book!

Another hit by Forrest and N.D

Art work is gorgeous as usual with Dickison. It's a fun little book. If I wanted to nit-pick I would say the climax of the book is a little weak, but overall still love what N.D continues to bring to the table.

This book was a joyful rebuke… as a mother of a loud, courageous and, at times, boisterous son, it gave me pause and challenged me to consider that God gave my son the courage, passion, and energy he needs to be a leader and protector. Fabulous book! My sons and daughters also really loved it, they range from 6-12.
