Book details
The basic duties of mothers-in-law and grandmothers are two: loyalty and service.
As women in these positions, we have a support role. It's all about just being there for our kids and grandkids. We are to bear the weight any way we can, whether through prayer and encouragement or by bestowing our time and resources on them.We want our kids to want to spend time with us. If we make an idol out of our family get-togethers or burden our children with our expectations, we may as well chase them away with a stick.
As our families change, we need to be flexible women, adjusting to the changes with grace and graciousness. We want to embrace maturity and welcome it, loving our own souls and growing in contentment, walking in the good works God has prepared for us.
