"Well, this is it. Caesar had his Rubicon. What do Bible college presidents have? A Rubik's Cube?"

Tom Collins, mild-mannered president of a dwindling southern Bible college, becomes a target when a drunk prankster swaps his campus's American flag with the Christian one, and Dr. Tom refuses to "fix" the situation. Big media, exuberant students, petty enemies, and pretty secretaries all play a part in this happy-go-lucky satire for the twenty-first century.

Readers of PG Wodehouse's Leave It to Psmith and Christopher Buckley's Thank You for Smoking will appreciate this lighthearted new satirical novel from Douglas Wilson, author of the award-winning Evangellyfish (Best Fiction of 2013, Christianity Today).

"Rourke spun around and stomped out the door. Bradford followed him out. "Don't you agree? We really need to do our part to reduce this epidemic of illicit banging in the evangelical world."

Chad Lester's kingdom is found in the Midwest. His voice crawls over the airwaves, his books are read by millions (before he reads them), and thousands ride the escalators into the sanctuary every Sunday. And Saturday. And Wednesday, too. He is the head pastor of Camel Creek—a CEO of Soul. And souls come cheap, so he has no overhead.

When Lester is (falsely) accused of molesting a young male counselee, his universe begins to crumble. He is a sexual predator, yes. But strictly straight (and deeply offended that anyone would suggest otherwise). Detectives, reporters, assistant pastors, and old lovers and pay-offs all come out to play.

John Mitchell is also a pastor, but he has no kingdom to speak of—only smalltime choir feuds. He is thrilled at the great man's fall, but his joy quickly fades when the imploding Lester calls him—and a lover or two—for help. How low can grace go? Whores, thieves, and junkies, sure. But pastors?

It's election season—America's most lucrative sport—and there are no rules.

When climate scientist Dr. Helen Gardner accidentally reads an email from the International Task Force on Climate Change which proves that global warming is a lucrative scam, she's shocked and horrified.

But that's nothing compared to how she feels the next day when her boss (the head of the Task Force) tries to have her killed.

Helen goes into hiding with the help of her neighbor, a "fundy" Bible college professor named Cody, and an anti-eco-activist lumberjack-writer.

But Helen's scandal isn't the only headline floating to the surface: the Democrat presidential candidate gets career-changing news; his running mate hits rock bottom after years of infidelity; the current Republican VP's past sins won't stay hidden forever.

And Cody is about to uncover some dirt of his own.

Learning Contentment

An excellent book that points us back to God's word and His exhortation to be content in all circumstances.

Amazing

I love this book and have bought it for many of my friends this Christmas. Thank you, Andy Naselli, Canon Press, and most importantly the Lord Jesus for this tremendous resource on why reading well is vital!

Crispin's Rainy Day

Very good book, humbling and would really recommend.

Mablog Trucker Hat

Not Lewis, but darn near close

I absolutely love Lewis’ Screwtape letters, so it was a hard sell to believe someone could fill those shoes. Tilly absolutely lives up to the hype though and makes your squirm from the moment you open the book.

QUALITY product. I was pleased with the packing as well -- it looked like someone carefully and thoughtfully packed a gift for me. The binding looks just like the advertised picture. SO excited to give these as gifts.

I used it with a student group. It was a helpful supplement to the video, though sometimes it was difficult to fully integrate the three resources; book, video and study guide. More material like this would be welcome.

I really like the simplicity of the item. The bottom elastic is a little snug for my preference but otherwise, the size is right and the quality seems good.

High Quality

Extremely comfortable and from a great source!

Excellent

This book is an encapsulation for why I love Canon Press and have followed them through the years. —Practical truth for raising your kids in the Lord, raising your kids in the church, helping to build a godly framework for making the right decisions, discipline them when they go off the rails, teaching repentance and forgiveness for sin goes both ways, and working diligently at being a consistent example for them in your own life so that they can see you Love and obey the Lord too.

Needs the wind to blow in one direction

Overall I love this flag. Its large. Its study. It’s fun. It’s subversive in a Kingdom way while confusing the neighbors into thinking I am a pirate.

The only issue, and thus is the nature of the product and not a fault of Canon, is that the side printed with the words “No Quarter November” shows through the other side backwards, as it must. So when the wind blows in one direction it’s legal and if the other way not so much. Again, not a fault of Canon but the buyer just might want to be aware.

Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat! Will I fly it every November? You bet! If only some day to honor DOUG Wilson’s legacy.

Great

Thought the book had some great arguments for why we should not neglect the Authorized Version. I really enjoyed it.

Fantastic

I’ve listened to this multiple times and I’m so excited to have this beautiful copy.

Excellent quality!

I bought this for my husband and he loves it ! Everything is top quality.

Excellent Hat - Love the logo

Quality snap back hat. Will be wearing it more than just during November.

NQN Hats are the best hats

This high-quality, good-looking hat will be a conversation starter for many years to come. You should have one too.

Wonderful Book

Spot on

The author has diagnosed a rampant problem in America today. A problem that easily slips under the radar of most people.
